The rock legend that is Bob Dylan celebrates his 70th birthday on May 24, 2011.

Finding an original recording from Dylan on the major video sites is a difficult task. Luckily, I found one of my favourites by him, which was a hit back in 1973. Here's Knockin' on Heaven's Door.

Until recently, Sharelle's songs and music were an unknown factor among my normal listening habits.

As an unsigned independent singer-songwriter, she hasn't been picked up (yet) by a major record label, so her emotionally charged songs do not have the audience they so richly deserve.

Those songs, along with a chunk of poetry, started when Sharelle was five-years-old. They reflect a life that has included a major bump in the road. Born with a life threatening heart condition, which thankfully following surgery has been cured, her music echoes the reflective writing of popular greats, such as Carole King and Joni Mitchell.

Regular readers here will appreciate Sharelle's Angels' Wings, which can be heard in the widget below. An inspiration to angels everywhere.

For me, her song A Lifetime Isn't Long Enough struck a particular personal chord. There is an intimate feel to the lyrics which seem to talk to me, transferring those words on to a soul mate. For whatever reason that you might be missing a significant other, I'm sure this song will talk to you too:

Bieber Fever is likely to go off the charts as we approach Valentine's Day weekend.

February 11 sees the release of the latest Justin Bieber product as his behind-the-scenes documentary Never Say Never is released in theaters. This fly on the wall style movie will trace not only his family life, but will also record the background and performance of his real life in concert.

To coincide with the movie, Island Records is releasing a Valentine's Day "gift" to his adoring fans in the shape of Never Say Never - The Remixes. Many of the songs on this latest release feature in the movie, including the lead single Never Say Never. Collaborations on the CD are made up of such musical luminaries as Kanye West, Usher, Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus.

As if this was not enough excitement, Bieber fans have yet more to look forward to. April cannot come soon enough as X-posed hits stores on the 5th. This seventy minute disc captures interview footage with Justin Bieber as he discusses subjects including his childhood, Lady Gaga as well as his fans.

That's a lot of Bieber Fever, no?

Oh, and let's not forget his appearance at the Grammys on Sunday the 13th!
